Tekcem Premium Screeding Cement (52.5N) is a high-strength cement that incorporates fibres to address early age cracking problems. Polymono micro synthetic fibres help prevent the propagation of cracks in the plastic state – precisely when most cracks occur. During the plastic settlement phase, the fibres create a three-dimensional support network that resists the downward pull of gravity, thus keeping aggregates in suspension and promoting uniform bleeding. This fibre network increases the tensile strain capacity of screed/concrete during the plastic shrinkage phase as well.

Storage, Appearance & Shelf Life

Bags should be stored unopened and clear of the ground in cool, dry conditions and protected from excessive drafts and all sources of moisture. The shelf life of unopened bags is six months. The cement is a grey powder with 6mm Polymono fibres – white, and consistent strength meeting all the conformity criteria in BS EN 197-1. The product is available in 25kg white bags stacked on a standard pallet – 80 bags per pallet with stretch-wrap plastic protection sheet.
