Usage Instructions

Mixing

By Hand: Mix 25kg of TEKCEM 550 FIBRE PLUS with 5.8L of water until uniform consistency is achieved. Do not exceed water addition as it affects strength and drying time.

By Pump: Follow pump manufacturer’s recommendations. Adjust water addition to achieve a smooth, cohesive mix.

Application

• Preparation: Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and strong enough to support the leveller, adhesive, and final covering.
• Priming: Prime substrates with TEKPRIME for better adhesion.
• Pouring/Pumping: Apply the mix to the desired thickness and finish with a trowel. For thicknesses greater than 50mm, allow each layer to dry before adding the next.
• Drying Time: Walkable after 3 hours at 20°C. Ready for tiled finishes after 3 hours and most other finishes after 24 hours.

Storage and Safety

• Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions. Shelf life is six months in unopened bags.
• Safety: Not classified under Chemicals Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply Regulations. Obtain a Material Safety Data Sheet from TEKCEM LTD for detailed safety information.

Limitations

• Temperature and Humidity: Apply when floor temperature is between 5-30°C and relative humidity is below 75%.
• Substrate Conditions: Ensure new concrete and sand/cement screeds are dry and primed. Not suitable for areas subject to permanent water immersion.
