Overview

TEKCEM 212+ Leveller Plus is a high-performance, fast-setting, self-levelling compound designed to smooth and level uneven floors and screeds in preparation for various floor coverings. This cement-based product is ideal for use over sound substrates, including concrete and sand/cement screeds, and can be applied at thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 12mm in a single application.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Ensure all substrates are clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, oil, and other contaminants. Substrates should be strong enough to support the weight of the leveller, adhesive, and final floor covering. Prime the surface as required, depending on the substrate type.

Mixing

Slowly add 25kg of TEKCEM 212+ powder to 5.8 - 6.0 litres of clean water, mixing thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency. Avoid over-watering as this can weaken the mix and extend drying times. For larger projects, use a suitable mixer/pump.

Application

Pour or pump the mixed leveller onto the prepared substrate and use a steel trowel to achieve the desired thickness. Use a spiked roller to remove trapped air and smooth out flow lines. For thicknesses greater than 12mm, apply in layers, priming between layers with a diluted TEKPRIME mixture.

Coverage

Storage and Shelf Life

Store in a cool, dry place. The product has a shelf life of six months when stored in unopened bags under appropriate conditions.
